what a pleasure it is to go outside these days: sunny, cool, comfortable, the air fresh and crisp. sometimes, when i walk into the field in the morning, i feel so moved and so happy that i could cry. i can't believe this is my place of work!
sena told me yesterday that everything comes from the earth. she was excited about having figured this out. we were talking about it at dinner, and how appropriate, since everything we were eating was grown less than 100 ft away from our table. i love feeling connected to the earth through our food, and i'm glad that sena feels it even beyond that.
