last friday evening, Mansfield Library held their annual Halloween party, except that this year they decided to celebrate "el dia de los muertos" (the mexican holiday) instead. but the kids still got to dress up, and they experienced a different kind of celebration, which was really cool. they had a mariachi band, mexican snacks, and an altar fit to the occasion. it was really fun. i love Mansfield library for how involved they are in the community. i'm contemplating applying for a job there if i ever decide to go back to work again....
so here are some pics from the big party....
(sena and aiyana and virtually all their friends dressed up as princesses, a theme that's very strong with them these days. grandma made their costumes.)

Very cute pictures. The costumes look great, and the ear rings are a nice touch. It's funny that they both dressed up exactly the same, Aiyana wanting to makes sure she does everything the same as her big sister.
It was really nice to see how excited they were to get all dressed up on Saturday. Davina keeps telling me that they are soo cute. when we left she said " Kyle I want..." and before she could finish i said "no way...not for a few years"..LOL
kyle,
it was nice to finally meet Davina. i'm glad that you guys came over, i laughed so hard. i find it really easy to laugh around you....looking fwd to the next time.
