My wall of resistance
So tall and broad, so unassailable
How will I ever move past you?
Over and over
Connect with what there is-
The fear, sorrow, shame
Open your heart,
And let them in,
Along with hope, excitement, joy
See them, hear them, feel them
Until they're ready
To move on
I cannot break the wall
But one day I will move right through it
As it dissolves, and I dissolve
And we are one.
