Sea glass

Pain is like sea glass
Sharp, at first,
Cuts anyone who comes too close.

But time does wear it down
The edges soften
Until someone picks up the shards
Admires their translucent beauty.

And sometimes, certain pieces,
You hold them to the light
And you can see right through them
A lovely hue on everything
Of pain transformed.

raluca ,astea sint versurile tale , care mi-au placut cel mai mult, in ultima vreme . in ele , vezi deosebirea intreo persoana cu talent literar si alta , fara . sa vezi ceva frumos sau dureros in orice te inconjoara , intr-un lucru banal sau simplu , care poate eprima sentimente umane (daca stii sa le vezi...) cu drag, mama .

p.s. daca vrei sa le pastrezi, le poti pune in casa , in jurul unei plante in ghiveci . sint f. frumoase . mama .

Lovely. I've been thinking of sea glass too, of how a glass bottle that gets tossed out and ends in the ocean eventually turns into sea glass, a beautiful thing... that doesn't happen with a plastic bottle.
