this past weekend i spoke about conscious consumption and food consciousness at a women's gathering in hartford. there were two other speakers: a naturopath who spoke on earth medicine, and a woman who spoke on self-care. the event began with one woman leading the rest of us through a short yoga practice, and ended with another woman drumming while the rest of us danced.
the celebration was held at Fire-n-Spice vegan restaurant and the food was unbeleivable.
