i've been spending lots of time going through seed catalogs, putting together orders for seeds and other stuff we'll need for next season ( rock powders, etc.).
the big question right now is when will ed and jonnie be done with the house. that will determine when ed will be able to devote significant time and effort to the farming operation. our next year in farming will look very different depending on whether i'm working alone, or wether ed will work with me, especially at the beginning. it makesd me a little anxious, things being so up in the air. but ed's full time on the house right now, and that makes the most sense for him to be doing. he really is working hard, so we'll just have to wait and see where he is in 4 weeks from now, and hopefuly then we'll be able to know a little more of what our spring will look like.
