i love the small cobble stone streets in ixtlan. cars can barely squeeze through, but they're just fine for people walking


people here often build their own houses themselves. there seem to be no codes or regulations that need to be followed, and as a result many homes look quite unique.

one of the streets we took went high above the village. this is the view of ixtlan below.

aiyana wanted me to take this picture of her. she likes to pose, i think, and she never does a fake smile for the camera. she seems to be at ease posing and still being natural.
