Monte Alban

we finally went to visit the Zapotec ruins at Monte Alban on sunday. they date from around 500BC, and were very impressive. i was feeling tired in the morning and almost decided not to go, but i am really glad that i finally did. the place was very spacious and open, and it was easy to be there. there weren't many people (relative to the size of the site), so it felt like we had space and time to take everything in.
