just after i posted my last message, i headed to the library to pick up my kids (my sister had themfor the morning), and ran into a woman from Mexico.... i know her daughter from one of my friends who babysits her, and that's how we started talking.
this woman is here on a sabatical (she works with UConn), and i told her about wanting to go to Mexico. she said she has a friend from Oaxaca, and gave me his email. i wrote to him, and already got a reply, so i have two leads for places to check out: Ixtlan de Juarez, in the mountains, and Mazunte, by the beach. both sound amazing, so i'll do some more research to figure out which one to go to...
maybe we'll go to both?
i love how things work out sometimes....
