everyone who tried this recipe LOVED it. i mean, everyone.
also, it takes about 5 min to make, no cooking involved. you can use it as: dip for raw vegetables, salad dressing, pasta sauce; it's great over soba noodles, or whatever you can think of. here it is:
4 Tbs toasted sesame seeds
2 Tbs olive oil
2 Tbsp tamari sauce (i think you can use soy sauce and it'd be ok)
2 tsp vinegar (i use apple cider vineggar, but try whatever you have)
1 tsp honey
1/4 tsp salt
dash of cayenne (or to taste)
dash of black pepper (or to taste)
1 Tbs water
toast the sesame seeds until light brown, then grind them into a powder (i use a coffee grinder for this). mix in the remaining ingredients in whatever order you want. that's it.
(i got the original recipe in one of madhur jaffrey's books, but it called for a bunch of ingredients i didn't have and could not easily buy at the co-op, so i modified it and came up with the above).
enjoy!
