vacuuming and doing our hair

on saturday, ed had his friend come over while i was taking my time off. his friend has 2 kids as well, and they play really well with our kids. before leaving, his friend, who's really laid back and i like a lot, joked about the cobwebs hanging from the ceilings all over our house. hmm...i guess, i stopped noticing. so i decided to clean them up right then and there. so great was my enthusiasm for this (and so unusual), that everyone got into the cleaning mood. ed vacuumed the front porch, and the kids insisted on vacuuming their room...

this morning, the girls were really into their hair (quite unusual), so we did braids and ponytails, and then they posed:
