It's early July and I am feeling quite excited. I finished my AP Research training last week. It was a full week of intense training, but it was fun and stimulating and also quite exhausting. It took me back to the days when I was doing my Master's thesis, especially in anthropology, with research methods, literature research, annotated bibliographies and all of that good stuff.

Other than that, some fun stuff I've been doing is playing tennis and trying not to get injured while doing it...

And also very fun has been playing and hanging out with Oolie, our newest kitten. She's so funny and playful, and she's gotten quite attached to me over the last 3 weeks.

In addition to all that, I've been planning our trip to Spain and educating myself on the history and culture of Andalusia. I'm so excited that we'll be visiting such an interesting place, which was a center of learning and tolerance, encompassing three different cultures, Muslim, Jewish and Christian in the middle ages!!! I can't wait to see the moorish palaces, gardens, and so much more. Though I'm a bit intimidated by the heat that's currently supposed to be quite intense in Sevilla and other places we're traveling to.
