The Black Sea and the mountains

Since last time I wrote, we went to the Black Sea and Bran Castle (also known as the fictional character Dracula's castle). The Bran area was my favorite, with its spectacular mountain views and beautiful little villages scattered throughout.

Muzeul satului (Village Museum)

This is a very special open air museum, where real homesteads from traditional Romanian villages are shown.

In Bucharest!

Finally arrived! My friend Adina waited for us at the airport. So nice of her. Been friends since 14! She drove us to our Airbnb which is in the old part of Bucharest. It's a beautiful part of town. We ate at this restaurant that is actually an inn dating back to 1808 and one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to.
Lots of old cobblestone streets, pedestrian only, in this area too. I love that.
